4. Popular Verbs

Mastering these verbs will help you form complete sentences.

 • To be (adalah/ada): Connects a subject and a description. Examples: am, is, are.

   •I am happy. (Saya bahagia.)

   • He is a doctor. (Dia adalah seorang dokter.)

   • We are tired. (Kami lelah.)

 • To have (mempunyai): Shows possession.

 • To do (melakukan): Shows an action.
