VISTORBELITUNG.COM,Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – In a ceremony underscoring the enduring strength of Saudi-Pakistani strategic ties, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, conferred the King Abdulaziz Sash (Excellent Class) upon General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The prestigious award was presented on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prince Khalid bin Salman stated that the conferment was carried out "In enforcement of the order of my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him."
The King Abdulaziz Sash, one of the Kingdom's highest civilian honors, was awarded in recognition of General Asim Munir's exceptional efforts and distinguished role in consolidating and strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual cooperation, as well as his contributions to developing the deep-rooted Saudi-Pakistani relations.
